Mr. Agarwal will assume the responsibility for Sonendo's marketing organization, including product portfolio management, commercialization, professional education, training and communications.
Amit has extensive experience in the medical device industry. Mr. Agarwal joins Sonendo from Johnson & Johnson's Biosense Webster division, a leader in electrophysiology, where he was Sr. Director of Global Strategic Marketing and managed a multi-billion-dollar product portfolio and led several strategic initiatives to drive growth. Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Mr. Agarwal was Director of Business Management for Asia-Pacific and Latin America for MAQUET Cardiovascular. Additionally, he has worked at Boston Scientific, Guidant Corporation and AFx, a startup with successful exit, in various engineering roles of increasing responsibilities. Amit has an outstanding track-record of delivering strong results and building high-performance teams.
Mr. Agarwal received his Bachelor of Technology in Engineering Physics from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Mumbai, an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA in Marketing and Finance from University of California, Berkeley.
