During this course, presented by Dr. Reid Pullen and The Root Canal Academy, you’ll be immersed in lectures and hands-on experience that will help you use the GentleWave® Procedure to efficiently and effectively perform root canal therapy.
Using microscopes and loupe magnification, Dr. Pullen will guide you through the entire root canal procedure. You’ll get instruction with the latest techniques for instrumentation, disinfection and obturation, with special emphasis on elevated disinfection protocols. Plus, you’ll learn:
- Tips and tricks of endo including access, finding MB2s, negotiation to patency, accurate working length, open glide path, etc.
- Shaping strategies with the newest NiTi systems
- Obturation techniques to obtain a 3D seal of the entire root canal system
- What’s new in endodontic research
Please note: Participants are asked to bring their own loupe and 2-3 accessed teeth.
REID PULLEN, D.D.S., FAGD
Dr. Reid Pullen graduated in 1995 with a B.S. degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Davis, and received his D.D.S. from the University of Southern California in 1999. He completed advanced education in general dentistry while serving with the U.S. Army Dental Corps.
After his military service, Dr. Pullen worked as a general practitioner in private practice in Yorba Linda, CA. He attended the Department of Veterans Affairs Endodontic Residency Program, graduating in 2006 with a certificate in endodontics.
Dr. Pullen has worked as an endodontist in private practice since 2006 and has owned his own practice in Brea, CA, since 2007. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
