Asgeir Sigurdsson, DDS, Cand Odont, MS (Endodontics)
Dr. Sigurdsson is the Chair of the Department of Endodontics at the New York University College of Dentistry, as well as an Adjunct Associate Professor at UNC, Honorary Clinical Teacher in Endodontology; UCL Eastman Dental Institute, London UK; and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry, The University of Hong Kong. Dr. Sigurdsson is also the Director of the American Board of Endodontics.
Albert Granger, DDS
Dr. Granger is a graduate of Howard University College of Dentistry and the post Graduate Endodontic Program at Columbia University. He presently serves on the Board of Trustees for Elizabethtown College and the NorthWell Hospital System, and is an active member of the American Dental Association, the New York State and Nassau County Dental Societies, the National Dental Association and the American Association of Endodontists.
Ashish Sahasra, DMD
Dr. Sahasra began his education by receiving his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Cornell University. He continued his dental training by graduating cum laude from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. With a passion for endodontics, Dr. Sahasra completed his residency in Endodontics from New York University. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Nassau County Dental Society and the Greater Long Island Dental Meeting (GLIDM).
Mehrzad Khakpour, PhD
Dr. Khakpour joined Sonendo in 2008, and has been the primary research and innovation driver of the Sonendo technology. In addition to developing the GentleWave Procedure, he also has primary responsibility for new product development focusing on consumables. During his career, Dr. Khakpour has authored numerous patent applications and professional journal articles.
